NAGKESAR..... नागकेसर के गुण : नागकेशर स्वाद में कसैला, कड़वा, पचने पर कटु तथा हल्का, रूक्ष तथा कुछ गर्म होता है। इसका मुख्य प्रभाव सर्व-शरीर पर रक्त-स्तम्भक (अर्श, अतिसार, रक्तपित्त, रक्तप्रदर में रक्त का स्तम्भन करनेवाला) रूप में पड़ता है। यह पीड़ाहर, दुर्गन्धनाशक, मस्तिष्क-बलदायक, अग्निदीपक, तृष्णा रक्तशोधक तथा विषहर है ।
नागकेसर के लाभ
1. खूनी बवासीर : मक्खन-मिश्री के साथ नागकेशर का सेवन करने से खूनी बवासीर में लाभ होता है। इसे रात्रि को पानी में भिगोकर और प्रात:काल छानकर शहद मिलाकर भी पिया जाता है। प्रवाहिका आदि में आमपाचन के लिए भी इसका उपयोग किया जाता हैं।2. गर्भधारण के लिए : 5 ग्राम नागकेशर को कूट पीस कर उसके चूर्ण को बकरी के दूध के साथ माहवारी के बाद सेवन करने से गर्भ अवश्य ही ठहरता है।
3. खाँसी : नागकेसर के जड़ और छाल का काढ़ा बनाकर पीने से खाँसी में बहुत लाभ मिलता है।
4. खुजली : पीले नागकेसर के तेल को खुजली वाले स्थान पर लगाने से खुजली मिट जाती है। चर्म रोग के लिए भी पीले नागकेसर के तेल का प्रयोग किया जाता है।
5. गठिया रोग : नागकेसर के बीज के तेल से मालिश करने से गठिया रोग में बहुत आराम मिलता है। जोड़ों के दर्द के लिए भी नागकेसर के तेल की मालिश बहुत उपयोगी है।
6. खूनी दस्त : नागकेसर को गाय के दूध का बना मक्खन के साथ सेवन करने से खूनी दस्त ठीक हो जाता है।
7. अन्य रोग : संधिवात, रक्तपित्त तथा रक्तप्रदर में भी नागकेशर का प्रयोग लाभप्रद होता है

Ginger 

Ginger is a common ingredient in Asian and Indian cuisine. 

However, ginger has been used for its medicinal properties for

 centuries among many cultures.


The root or underground stem (rhizome) of the ginger plant can be consumed fresh, powdered, dried as a spice, in oil form or as juice. Ginger is part of the Zingiberaceae family, alongside cardamom and turmeric, and is commonly produced in India, Jamaica, Fiji, Indonesia and Australia.
Ginger has a long history of use for relieving digestive problems such as nausea, loss of appetite, motion sickness and pain.

Ginger, as we all know, has a peculiar fragrance and is a strong spice offering several beauty benefits. It is packed with antioxidants and is antiseptic in nature, which makes it extremely useful to resolve problems like signs of anti-ageing, acne, skin burns, dandruff, brittle hair, hair loss, etc. 
1. Shields against skin ageing  
Ginger is full of anti-oxidants that are responsible for increasing blood circulation and cut down on toxins. These anti-oxidants essentially fight off free radicals, there by protecting the skin.This process hence fights off signs of ageing like dull skin, fine lines, wrinkles and keeps the skin as youthful.
2. Clears acne and blemishes 
This strong spice is great for resolving acne and blemishes due to its antiseptic properties. It also acts like a deep cleanser for clogged pores and eliminates any acne-causing bacteria.
